100 books in 2012: #5

I’m definitely slacking on this 100 book list. Anyway, I just finished I love my rifle more than you by Kayla Williams. I LOVED this book. It’s  about her time in Iraq, and the difficulties women face in the military, particular in war zones where they are a minority. She was hilarious and honest throughout the whole book, talking about how men saw women, and how easily one incompetent woman can affect men’s views so easily. A friend recommended this one to me, and I am happy to recommend it to you.

1) Catching Fire – Suzanne Collins
2) Mockingjay – Suzanne Collins
3) Gloria – Mark Coovelis
4) Blindsided – Richard M. Cohen
5) I Love my Rifle More Than You – Kayla Williams

Next up on the docket: Sing you home by Jodi Picoult

  1. Aah, I have found another Book Booster. I devoured the Hunger Games trilogy–can’t wait for the movie. I hope you will stop by and add your name to the list of growing Book Boosters.
