100 Books in 2012: #15

In a previous post, I mentioned that I couldn’t get into this book and that it angered me. I decided to return the book to it’s original owner, unfinished. When I told her I couldn’t get into it, she insisted I give it another 30 pages and if I still couldn’t get into it, she’d drop it. Sighing, I agreed. Once I got past those 30 pages, I couldn’t put it down and ended up  finishing it the next day. Jodi Picoult’s Salem Falls was an okay book. Yes, I couldn’t stop once I got past that point, but it still wasn’t as good as some of her other books, I just needed to know if he was innocent or guilty. If you’re interested in the Wiccan religion and the legal system/sexual assault trials, I’d recommend it. Otherwise, it’s not a book I’ll be jumping up and down to recommend to you.

Also, if you didn’t notice, I added a page called 100 Books, and I’ll be updating the entire list there rather than in every 100 Books in 2012 post.

Have you read it? What did you think?
